About the 44th
The 44th has always been a chaotic and casual regiment for the game "Holdfast: Nations at War" we have always put fun first above all.
Started by General Ted in 2022 the regiment has grown to be the most popular casual regiment in Holdfast, with our loud and lively lads and no mandatory attendance, you are free to come and go as you feel and join back on the fun! We also offer specialist companies you can join that offer new experiences in the regiment. We began to gain traction on social media through TikToks and having a blast which boosted our numbers, at one point we brought over 80 players to an event which is a record for regiment attendance.
After a while we saw the NA side of the regiment spike up in activity after a few members the main one being TheRandomKC who pioneered through the ranks. KC would later be put in charge of the regiment following Gen. Ted's departure after he joined Anvil Game Studios as a Community Manager. The regiment is now in charge of Arnold Henderson.

Our Regiment Events
Our regiment attends events that usually consist of an hour of fun and casual gameplay. We have events every day in our main EU side as well as regular events for our NA side and a select few events for OCE. These events will be announced a few hours before the event starts.
We also do regular training sessions throughout the week on our EU side to help our members improve their skills and teamwork. The types of training will vary, they could be drills, line leader training, melee practice, or fun.

As stated above, joining a special company in the 44th will give you more ways to experience Holdfast. We offer 3 specials and 3 auxiliary companies. More information about our specials and auxiliaries below.
The 44th Skirmisher Company
Swift and deadly, the Light Infantry and Riflemen are the first on the battlefield. They harass the main force, hit fast and manoeuver, whittling down the numbers ready for the 44th Line to decimate the remaining enemy. The 44th Skirmisher Company offers tailored skirmisher events, alongside Skirmisher gameplay in select linebattles. With a bounty board, trophy hall and a weekly Skirmisher leaderboard, there's plenty here to get your teeth into.

The 44th Cavalry Company
The 44th Regiment of Foot Cavalry is, without question, the finest special in the regiment—a perfect combination of aggression, discipline, skill and absolute battlefield dominance. Under the almighty reign of Skeps, the commander and creator of the 44th Cavalry, the unit cemented its place among the elite by taking down the 42nd Cav, a Top 3 Cavalry team, during the regiments FIRST ever Cav League, a result that speaks for itself. The 44th don't need excuses, gimmicks or endless backline support; they turn up, mount up and deliver hell.

The 44th Artillery Company
The 44th Artillery Company is a formidable force on the battlefield, known for its precision, accuracy, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the regiment, making it a cornerstone of the 44th's excellence. They are skilled and well practiced cannoneers who are a laugh and also highly effective in combat. While the 44th is known for getting blown up in linebattles by enemy artillery, the Artillery Company knows how to give it back to the enemy.

The 44th auxiliary companies provide additional ways to play Holdfast with the regiment. Whether you are interested in Competitive Naval Battles, Competitive Melee Group fights and training, or a field Medic. The auxiliary companies have got your back!
The 44th Royal Navy / 44th Rum Rats
Welcome to the 44th Royal Navy! Fight with us on the high seas, as a sailor, midshipman, marine, carpenter and a captain on a variety of ships and vessels, with huge cannon fights and epic boarding actions. The 44th Royal Navy has multiple naval events every week with a progression system and medals to earn. We are also involved in the Navy Sports League in which we compete under the Rum Rats team with other players in the Holdfast community.

The 44th Royal Guard
The 44th Royal Guard was founded on members who derived from the regiment, who enjoyed the success of winning in close combat style fighting. Their expert melee skills, have held fast in unprecedented group fights and holdfast events. Their commitment to melee excellence is why the 44th Royal guard is on Top! The 44th Royal Guard attends many group fights and holdfast events, showcasing their exceptional melee skills and dedication to excellence.

The 44th Royal Medical Corps
The surgeon class is the dedicated medic role in Holdfast which plays a vital role in our linebattle events - a line without a medic has no way of healing injured men and will be broken much quicker. The role of the surgeon in linebattle events is more passive than line infantry but is still capable of offensive action! The Medic Corps has 3 Ranks to work your way up in starting off with Nurse. (The backbone of the corps) Doctor. (The beating heart of the medics) Professor. The Officer role in charge of administration and keeping the other ranks in line.
